Overview

A leading global advisory firm is expanding its Consulting practice and seeking experienced Project Managers at Manager and Associate Director level.

This role focuses on delivering complex transformation programmes within Financial Services, with particular emphasis on retail banking, regulatory change, and large scale business transformation initiatives.

You will operate in a high growth consulting environment, leading multi disciplinary teams and driving measurable outcomes for senior stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of complex projects and programmes across Financial Services clients

  • Drive full project lifecycle execution from initiation through to implementation

  • Manage cross functional teams spanning client, internal, and third party vendors

  • Produce governance documentation including RAID logs, status reporting, and project initiation documents

  • Develop structured project plans, roles, responsibilities, and communication strategies

  • Map end to end customer journeys across retail banking products including loans, mortgages, and credit cards

  • Identify value add improvements and implement operational enhancements

  • Engage senior stakeholders including C Suite

  • Support business development activity including proposals and tenders


Required Experience

  • 6 to 10 years Project or Programme Management experience

  • Strong Financial Services domain exposure across Retail Banking, Asset Management, or Insurance

  • Experience operating within regulated environments, ideally aligned to Central Bank of Ireland frameworks

  • Proven track record delivering large, complex transformation initiatives

  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across consulting and client environments

  • Project Management certification with practical application of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies


Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting regulatory change programmes

  • Exposure to operational excellence or finance transformation initiatives

  • Prior consulting firm experience

  • Business development and client proposal exposure

  • Strong executive level stakeholder engagement capability
